Holiday Candy Shawl: A Daily Advent Crochet Project
As I’m sure you’ll know if you’ve read any of my other Advent-related posts, I absolutely love finding or designing projects to make with my yarn Advent Calendars! This year was no different, and I absolutely adore how this design turned out!
This particular design went through a few iterations. I went into this design planning on making a corner-to-corner blanket, but I quickly decided that I was not happy at will with how it was working up. I then frogged it and decided to do a shawl instead. I tried a few different ways of starting it before settling on a way I was happy with. After finishing adding by Day 12 stripe, I wanted to try and make the last 12 days a decrease, to make it a symmetrical shawl, but I quickly decided to just keep increasing and make it asymmetrical. All that said, I have created a shawl that I am very happy and proud of, and I am so excited to share it with you!
